Description
Tex-Flex™ FEP corrugated tubing is capable of turning sharp corners with very small bend diameters without reducing the inside diameter of the tube. These tubes also have a low refractive index allowing operators to watch and monitor any material passing through the tube and the non-stick surface allows for easy cleaning.
Tex-Flex FEP corrugated tubes will operate in applications where high temperatures are needed and other materials are not suitable. The maximum continuous operating temperature is up to 200°F/93°C @ 0 pressure. Tubes can also be stainless steel braided for higher pressures or can be special ordered in TEXfluor® PFA corrugation for a maximum continuous operating temperature up to 300°F/148°C @ 0 pressure.
Tex-Flex FEP corrugated is an excellent electrical insulator and resists most strong corrosive liquids like hot acids. It is often used as an electrical or fluid conduit with robots that have flexible arms to deliver electrical wiring, air, or corrosive liquids".
